3.2-litre DI-D diesel Engines
|
|
The new Pajero is available with two different engines. There is a 3.2 DI-D diesel engine with modern Common Rail technology. With 160PS/381Nm (manual transmission) or 170PS/373Nm (automatic transmission) this engine gives the Pajero enough power to go anywhere, quickly, smoothly and quietly.
The Diesel Particulate Filter, which is standard on the automatic transmission, helps to reduce the particulate emissions to a minimum level.

3.8-litre V6 MIVEC Engine
|
|
If you prefer petrol power, there is our all-new high performance 3.8 V6 engine withe MIVEC technology. Offering up to 250PS/329Nm, this engine gives excellent power, response and refinement and combines it with the smoothness of a V6 engine. Both these engines have torque at low revolutions required to maintain confident progress in off-road situations

Pajero’s strengthened monocoque body with built-in frame provides a highly rigid structure, with crumple zones around the engine to absorb impact energy to ensure everyone is safe and feels safe.

Airbags

In the event of a collision Pajero not only has dual-stage front airbags but also side airbags and curtain airbags for ultimate protection to driver and passengers.

ASTC
|
| Active Stability and Traction Control is Pajero’s state-of-the-art safety system. It regulates braking force to each wheel during cornering to ensure excellent stability. The system also maintains optimum traction in all conditions, on and off-road. ASTC prevents tyre spin on slippery surfaces and minimises the risk of drift caused by over-accelerating in corners. |
